Lorrane Dennis

Lorrane Dennis, 86, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born May 9, 1936 in Mishawaka to William and Dorothy (Shire) Jacobs.

On April 18, 1953, she married Woodbridge Dennis.

He survives along with three children, Rebecca (Gary) Edwards of Syracuse, Loretta Dennis of Elkhart and Michael (Susie) Dennis of South Bend; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn and her husband, Mark Richard, and two sisters, Gwen Mangold and Dorothy “Pearl” Sohlke.

Mrs. Dennis' life revolved around her family - they were everything to her.  In addition to always taking care of her family, she was known for random acts of kindness including giving Hershey Kisses to strangers, store and restaurant employees and friends.  She liked to recognize good service, friendly people and those who may seem in a mood that needed cheered up.  She will be deeply missed.
