Loretta W. Mast

Loretta W. Mast, 85, of Goshen died April 22, 2019 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born in Mishawaka August 13, 1933 to Floyd and Hazel (Straub) Flowers.

She married Delbert L. Mast January 19, 1952 in Mishawaka and they remained together until his death August 26, 2010.

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Biers and a granddaughter, Christine Silva, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Three children predeceased her, sons Greg and Victor, and daughter Lori Lindzy.  Two grandchildren also predeceased her, John Trevor Frangis and Travis Tyson.

Other survivors include Lori’s husband, Jim Lindzy of Elkhart, and nephew, John Dausman of South Bend.

Loretta worked in production for Johnson Controls for many years, and helped with the farm she and her husband owned.  She was appreciated for her sharp wit and blunt talk.

No services are planned.  She will be cremated and her ashes buried beside her husband in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial gifts may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice or Greencroft Community Foundation.
