Loretta L. Penney, 51, of Elkhart, died at her home, Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

She was born July 9, 1971 in Goshen to Paul Troxell, Sr. and Carolyn (Shively) Troxell. They preceded her in death along with paternal aunts and uncle, Wanda, Claudia, Alice and Jack.

She is survived by her step-mother, Sandra Troxell; three brothers, Paul (Marianne) Troxell, Jr., South Bend, Martin W. (María) Miller, Costa Rica, and Tadd A. (Cyndy) Troxell, Elkhart; four nephews, Austin, Declan, Liam and Lennon Troxell; a niece, Ireland Troxell; maternal uncles and aunts, William and Cheryl Shively, and Herman and Linda Miller and paternal aunts and uncle, Jolene, Bonnie, Sally and Steve.

Loretta graduated from Wawasee High School and was an active member at Cora Dale House in Goshen.

Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Faith Mennonite Church, 727 New York St., Goshen. A 6 p.m. memorial service will follow. Pastor Kay Bontrager-Singer will officiate.

Burial of cremated remains will take place Friday, August 26, at 2 p.m. at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
