Loretta M. Holdread, 82, of Goshen, died at her home Wednesday morning, August 19, 2015. She was born June 10, 1933 in Mark Center Township, Ohio to Lawrence W. and Romaine (Bailey) Isley. On January 10, 1954 she married Clifford L. Holdread in Goshen. He survives along with two sons, Richard L. Holdread of Goshen and James P. Holdread of New Paris; four grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Katherine and Aaron (Miriam) Holdread and two great-grandchildren, Edward and Richard Holdread. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert L. Isley. A Goshen resident since 1944, Mrs. Holdread worked at Goshen Churn and Ladder for 10 years, Penn Control for three years and as a manager at Wooden Wagon Floral Shoppe for 17 years. After retiring in 1993 she and Clifford traveled throughout the United States, including Hawaii. She was a 60 year member of Eastern Star where she was a past Matron. She also managed the Eastern Star restaurant at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair for many years. She was the Mother advisor for the Rainbow Girls. There will be no services. Her body will be cremated at Yoder-Culp Crematory and burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Light Hospice, 1608 Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
