Lora E. Miller

Lora E. Miller, 75, of Elkhart, formerly of Bristol, died early Thursday morning, July 28, 2022 at Hellenic Senior Living Center.

She was born January 28, 1947 in Knott County, Kentucky to Chester and Madeline (Bailey) Howard.

On June 22, 1962 she married Elmer Miller in Clintwood, Virginia. He died in 1984.

Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Miller of Goshen, and Deborah (John) Vettese of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Randy Miller of Goshen; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are five sisters, Rella Smith, Martha (Steve) Ferguson, Elizabeth (Larry) Smith, Kathleen (A.C.) Smith, and Matilda Smith; and two brothers, Noah (Pam) Howard, and Lester (Mary) Howard, all of Kentucky.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Shelby Howard, and Virginia Little.

Mrs. Miller was a hard worker, wherever she was employed. She attended Decoy Church, Decoy, Kentucky. Her hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, and bird watching, especially hummingbirds.

Funeral services for Lora E. Miller will be held at Decoy Community Church, Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00AM
with Sherman Clemons and Darron Melton officiating.

Burial will follow at Bradley Cemetery at Decoy, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at the Church, Sunday evening, August 7, 2022 after 6PM with additional services at 7PM.
