Lola H. Hopkins

Lola H. Hopkins, 84, passed away Monday, February 5, at home.

She was born December 1, 1939, in Bristol, Virginia, to Burl and Pearl (O’Neal) Eades.

On March 4, 1961 she married Victor Hopkins.  He died June 29, 1984.

Survivors include three children, Victor Hopkins Jr. and Victoria Ann Hopkins, both of Goshen and Roger Hopkins of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Jerry (Lynn) Eades and Mary Tilly, both of Bristol Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter-in-law, Jean Hopkins.

Mrs. Hopkins worked for Anderson Boling, Goshen City Water Treatment Plant, Town House and as a crossing guard for Goshen Community Schools.

Friends may visit Saturday, February 10, from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Dave Hackney will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery.
