Lois J. Luneack

Lois J. Drake Luneack, 91, of Syracuse, Indiana passed away peacefully Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor Nursing facility where she had been a resident since December 2014.

She was born December 20, 1929 in Ithaca, Michigan to Roy and Alice (Jones) Harms.

Survivors include two sons, Todd Drake of Syracuse, Indiana and Scott (Renee) Drake of Leesburg, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney) Drake and Sarah Drake; two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Reid; two sisters, Donna Naffziger of Venice, Florida and Carol (John) Johnson of Cedar, Michigan and a brother, Charles Harms of Spruce Creek, Florida

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Wilbur Drake and Kenneth Luneack; a brother, Leo Harms and a sister, Linda Walling.

Lois was a graduate of Alma High School and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.   She was also a member of Alma Elks Lodge #1400.

An avid golfer, Lois was a past champion of the Gratiot County Country Clubs Womens Tournament.

She loved the outdoors and was especially fond of fall color trips to Northern Michigan.

Private graveside services will take place at Chapel Gardens, Alma, Michigan.

Public services will be held at a later date.
