Loa Stringfellow Wysong

Loa Stringfellow Wysong, 97, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2016, at Valley View Nursing Care.

She was born March 9, 1919 in Hoytville, Ohio to Ira and Cora (Ramsey) Fuller.

She married Joseph H. Stringfellow in 1937.  He died June 4, 1968.  In 1979 she married David C. Wysong.  He died July 17, 1996.

Survivors include three children, Darlene (Merle) Smith of Blairville, Georgia and Sally (Jerry) Evans and Michael (Bev) Stringfellow, both of Goshen; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; five brothers and a sister.

A longtime Goshen resident. Mrs. Wysong worked for a short while at Ivy Terrace.  She was a member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren.

Friends may call Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 23, 2016.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
