Lloyd “Whitey” Allen Miller, 83, of Bristol died Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Elkhart Hospital.
He was born August 9, 1940 in Marysville, Ohio to Pete V. and Mary (Bontrager) Miller.
On June 18, 1960 he married Judy Ann St. John in LaGrange. She died December 25, 2014.
Lloyd is survived by three daughters, Gai Lynn Jones, Bristol, Kelly Ann (Larry) Gates, Lakeville and Tracy Lee Miller of Bristol; girlfriend, Marcia Schooley; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty (John) Hershberger, White Cloud, Michigan, Odessa Miller, Goshen and Katie (Darrell) Ott, Goshen; and a brother, Paul R. (Mary) Miller, Huntsville, Texas.
Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Goldsberry; three sisters, Sarah Wenger, Mary Alice Miller and Edna Mallot, and a brother, Leroy Miller.
A longtime area resident, Mr. Miller owned and operated Miller’s Farm Market and Greenhouse in Bristol. He also worked as a purchasing agent for several RV companies in the area. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Bristol, VFW, Elkhart and enjoyed playing Euchre the last 15 years at several different clubs.
He also enjoyed piecing together many puzzles with his girlfriend Marcia.
Friends may call Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m. and one hour prior to the 3:30 p.m. funeral service on Monday, February 26 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor David Stauffer of Journey Church of Plymouth will officiate.
Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Bristol.
