Lizzie Mae Morris

Lizzie Mae Morris, 74, of Elkhart, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born in Honeyville February 8, 1936, to the late John and Martha (Glick) Christner. She is survived by two daughters, Sheena Geiger of Goshen and Sheri Wass of Elkhart; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara (Mel) Eash of Goshen; and two brothers, Raymond Christner of Santa Maria, Calif., and Noah (Bev) Christner of Spokane, Wash. A member of First Church of God, Lizzie Mae worked at 1st State Bank of Middlebury and enjoyed traveling and bird watching. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, at the funeral home. An 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 29, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Scott officiating. Burial will be in Christner Cemetery, Honeyville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
