Lionel Eugene Pender, Jr., 56, of Elkhart, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, August 9, 2008. He was born in Round Pond, Arkansas, to Lionel E. Pender, Sr. and Mildred E. (Elliot) Lacefield, on March 29, 1952. He is survived by a brother, Stan (Wilburta) Pender of Syracuse. There will be a private service.
