Linda Kay Roose

Linda Kay Roose, 55, of Goshen, died Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2008, at her home after a five year battle with cancer. She was born in Goshen on June 24, 1953, to Robert L and Bernadien I. (Hamilton) Roose. A lifelong Goshen resident, Ms. Roose graduated from Goshen High School in 1971.  She was a member of the West Goshen Church of Brethren and the former Goshen American Legion.  A homemaker, she had worked for Parkway Inn for 13 years.  She loved her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Carl G. (Nancy) Jones of DuQuoin, Illinois, and Jeremy A Jones and Johnothon A. Jones, both of Goshen; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Greg L. Roose of Goshen, and Douglas A. Roose of Centerville, Indiana; and two sisters, Beth (Frank) Searer of Loyal, Wisconsin, and Peggy Roose Emmons of Columbus, Ohio. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Norman Replogle of West Goshen Church of the Brethren will officiate. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen.
