Linda Lee Miller, 74, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. She had a stroke February 28th.
She was born January 22, 1943 in Goshen to Roland and Frances (Williamson) Bickel.
On October 26, 1963 she married Walter “Skip” Miller in Goshen.
He survives along with two children, Anita (Brad) Fisher of Middlebury and Jeff (Amy) Miller of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Kate, Landon, Kinsey and Kayla; a brother, Jerry (Marla) Robison of Elkhart; a sister-in-law, Norma Robison of Elkhart and a special cousin, Bonnie Lynne of Madera, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, F. Ned Robison and Robert, Jack and Philip Bickel.
A lifelong Goshen resident, Linda volunteered at Elkhart County Corrections Center in the mail room.
The most important part of her life was her family. Skip was the love of her life and she never wanted to be apart. Her grandchildren were her main inspiration. She doted on all four of them and followed them to every event she could make.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017, funeral service will be conducted. Rev. Tim Yoder will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Arthritis Foundation.
