Linda Jean Allard

Linda Jean Allard, 63, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her home after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born November 3, 1953 in Goshen to Charles and Shirley (Bigler) Prough.

In June 1996 she married Walter Allard in Elkhart.

He survives along with three children, Brian Elliott of Goshen and Amy (Juan) Guevara and Kari Elliott, both of Elkhart; a step-son, Jay (Laura) Allard of Elkhart; seven grandchildren, Isabella, Madison, Kaine, Koda, Brandon, Alex and Jessica; two great-grandchildren, Delylah and Valkyrie and a brother, Tom (Pamela Hively Prough) Prough of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Jim Prough.

Linda worked as a cook and teacher at La Petite Academy.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

An 11:30 a.m. memorial mass will be conducted on Friday, May 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of St. Joseph County.
