Lila L. Miller, 92, formerly of CR 19, Goshen, died Friday afternoon, November 4, 2011 at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born July 16, 1919 in Kouts to the late William and Amelia (Birky) Martin. On July 3, 1937 in Kouts she married Ralph O. Miller. He died January 29, 2005. Surviving are three daughters; Carol Mann of Goshen, Shirlee (Dean) Lambright of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jean (Stan) Shriner of Bristol; two sons, Gerald Miller of Sarasota, Florida and David Miller of Jacksonville, Florida; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, two step great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma (Eugene) Reinke of Rockford, Illinois. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Miller; two brothers, Lester and Omar Martin and three sisters, Mary Baughman, Eva Owen, and Verna Johnson. A member of Bonneyville Mennonite Church, Mrs. Miller retired as manager of the Lexington House Cafeteria. She loved to bake yeast rolls and bread and was especially known for her cinnamon rolls. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Monday, November 7, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at Bonneyville Mennonite Church, 15273 SR 120, Bristol, with Pastor Sherm Kauffman and nephew, Rev. Larry Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to MDC Goldenrod and to Greencroft Foundation.
