Lila Jane Kinney-Dills

Lila Jane Kinney-Dills, 67, of Goshen, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born November 9, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Frances (Alexander) Meredith.

On April 19, 1968 she married Willard Junior Kinney in Goshen.  He died January 14, 1996.  She then married John Dills on July 9, 2013 in Goshen.

He survives along with five children, Betty Kinney and Bill (Melissa) Kinney, both of Goshen, Peggy L. (James) Payne of Bradenton, Florida and Garland (Cathy) Kinney and Marvin L. (Jeannie) Petry, both of Goshen; five step-children, Carrie Sue (James) Hansford of Goshen, Jill Ann Littlefied of Elkhart, Karine (Brandon) Acker of Hartford City and Kara Marie Dills and Joshua J. Dills, both of Wolcottville; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and a sister, Francis R. Meredith of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Willard Junior Kinney; a son, Timothy Kinney; a brother, Lonnie Ray Meredith and a sister, Charlotte Marie Meredith.

Friends may call Monday, January 16, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Tuesday funeral service will be conducted.  Rev. Will Schieler will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
