Lewis H. Hartman, 90, passed away Monday, July 24, at Majestic Care of Goshen.
He was born March 29, 1933 in Livingston County, Illinois, to John and Grace (Cook) Hartman.
On August 21, 1955, he married Evelyn G. King. She died March 18, 2019.
Mr. Hartman is survived by a daughter, Lori Wilson, Lakeville, three sons: Daryl (Keith Watson) Hartman, Chicago, Illinois; Arlen (Deb) Hartman, Goshen; and Kevin (TJ) Hartman, Winona Lake; along with eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rita Harter, Wakarusa.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers John "Lowell" and Leroy Hartman of Wakarusa; Paul and Russell Hartman of Illinois; and sisters Mildred Winge, Aroma Park, Illinois, and Bernice Canham, Bourbonnais, Illinois; as well as two infant sisters.
Mr. Hartman was a member of New Paris Missionary Church and worked as an accountant for MasterCraft in Shipshewana for more than 30 years.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 27 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Friday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at New Paris Missionary Church. Pastor David Hackney will officiate.
Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to New Paris Missionary Church.
