Levi J. Miller, 86, of Goshen, died Friday morning, February 17, 2012 at Greencroft Healthcare. He was born September 28, 1925 in Allen County to John and Rozina (Zehr) Miller. He married Fanny L. Peachey March 3, 1958 in Sarasota, Florida. She died August 15, 2006. He is survived by two daughters, Rosann (Dean) Burkholder of Goshen, Sarah (DeWayne) Miller-Bontrager of Topeka; a son, Michael (Jana) Z. Miller of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, John Michael Miller, Marita Miller and Lauren Bontrager; a brother, Elmer (Norma) Miller of Goshen; and a sister, Esther (Sam) Bontrager of Middlebury. He was preceded in death by a son, John Mark Miller, and eight siblings, Katie Ann Miller, David J. Miller, Lydia Chupp, Mattie Bontrager, Mary J. Miller, Menno Miller, Joseph J. Miller and Amos J. Miller. A lifetime area resident, Mr. Miller was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Goshen, and the Mennonite Historical Society. A carpenter, he co-founded and managed Miller Building Supply. Friends may call 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 20, at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft, Goshen; and from 9 until the 10a.m.., Tuesday, February 21, 2012, funeral service at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, Goshen. Pastor Ron Diener will officiate. Burial will follow at Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Mission Network.
