Letha Irene Mahler, 76, of Millersburg, died Monday morning, December 4, 2006, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing, after a four week illness. She was born October 6, 1930, to Earl S. and Leota May (Cline) Brubaker, in Miami County, Indiana. She married Duane Mervin Mahler on April 15, 1951, at the home of her parents. He survives. A longtime resident of the area, Mrs. Mahler retired as a teller at Key Bank, Goshen. A 1949 graduate of Goshen High School, she was a member of the Burr Oak Church in Ligonier. She is survived by her husband, Duane; two brothers, Charles H. Brubaker of Logansport, Indiana, and Darrell D. (Carol) Brubaker of Kokomo, Indiana; and a sister, T. Darlene (John) Rockenbaugh of Missoula, Montana. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2006, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Sheldon Crapo and Rev. Larry Byrnes will officiate. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg. Memorial contributions may be given to the Goshen Hospital Foundation.
