Letah A. Loy, 93, of Goshen died Monday, April 25, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1929 in Benton Township to Charles W. and Edith (Miller) Clark.
On September 25, 1949, she married Robert Loy. They enjoyed nearly 48 years of marriage before his death September 12, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Goetz, Goshen; a son, Steven (Mary) Loy, Shipshewana; five grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Brosius, Goshen, Lisa (Darin) Hathaway, Elkhart, Robert (Amanda) Loy, Carmel, Matthew (Lauren) Loy, Fort Wayne, and Shane Yoder, Shipshewana; five great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Reed Frecker, Brayden, Ava and Jameson Loy; and a sister, Ruby Rink, Milllersburg.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and seven sisters.
Mrs. Loy was a 1947 graduate of New Paris High School and a year later she graduated from Fort Wayne Beauty College. Letah owned and operated her own beauty shop, “Letah’s Beauty Shop”, for 45 years.
Letah was a long-time member at Faith Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild. She enjoyed bowling and was a charter member of Maplecrest Country Club.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service, Friday, April 29, at Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen. Pastor Jessica King will officiate.
Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
