Lester Howard Hooley of Goshen, Indiana passed away March 3, 2026. He lived a remarkable 101 years and is now rejoicing with his heavenly father.

A native of Middlebury & New Paris, Indiana, he retired from Star Craft & Smoker Craft, enjoying his retirement years in Sun City Center, Florida.

Les loved traveling; from Jerusalem to the Caribbean, touring six European countries with Sounds of Hope as their tour photographer. He volunteered with Sun City Center's Emergency Squad, Computer Tech and the Pelican Player's Live Theater. He had a love for mechanics and gardening.

Surviving is his loving wife, Eva Brown S. Hooley of Goshen, Indiana; his children, Greg Hooley of Ruskin, Florida, Tim (Teri) Hooley of Elkhart, Indiana, Joe (Jackie) Hooley of New Paris, Indiana, LuAnn H Hewitt of Goshen, Indiana; and two additional children, Kim Stickel and Sonia (Larry) Shank; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Menno S. & Dora (Mast) Hooley, a sister Verna H. Slabaugh of Topeka, Indiana, brothers Walter H. Hooley and Marion Hooley both of Goshen, Indiana, many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
