Leona M. Yoder, 84, of Goshen died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
She was born April 15, 1937 in Canton, Ohio to Edward and Esther (Shrock) Yoder. The family moved to Sarasota, Florida where she grew up.
On June 26, 1965 she married Stanford D. Yoder in Sarasota, Florida and they moved to Middlebury, Indiana. He died March 1, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda (Joe Bridwell) Yoder Breman of Indianapolis; two sons, Ronald J. Yoder of Lincoln, Nebraska and D. Edward (Erin) Yoder of New Palestine; four grandchildren, Jackson Breman, Benjamin Yoder, Andrew Yoder, and Elizabeth Breman; and a sister, Edna Otto of Newton, Kansas.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Willis Yoder; two sisters, Ruth Ann Yoder-James and Mary Miller; and her son-in-law, Matthew Breman.
Mrs. Yoder worked as a tax preparer, retiring from Tom Louck, C.P.A. firm. A former member of First Mennonite Church, Middlebury, Leona was a current member at Burr Oak Church, Ligonier.
A private family funeral will be live-streamed, Monday, February 7, beginning at 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Lawrence Byrnes will officiate.
Burial will take place at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Goshen Health Foundation for Home Care and Hospice services.
