Leigh Seely Fisher

Miss Leigh Seely Fisher, 27, of Goshen, died Saturday morning, July 22, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital.  She had been ill since February with leukemia.   She was born in Goshen, on April 1, 1979, to David P. Fisher and Julie E. Fisher.  A 1997 Northwood High School graduate, she had worked for Newmar Corporation in Nappanee for eight years doing warranty work.   Miss Fisher was a member of the Wakarusa United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.  At Northwood she sang in the choir and in musicals.  She attended Ball State University.  She volunteered with Elkhart County Big Brothers – Big Sisters and with Real Services in Elkhart.  She was a past member of the Elkhart County 4-H where she had qualified for the state fair in the home environment division.   She is survived by her mother, Julie E. Fisher of Goshen; her father David P. Fisher of Lansing, Michigan; her fiancé, Randy Craigo II of Goshen, a sister, Erin R. (Nick) McClintock of Lusby, Maryland; and grandparents, Lee and Katie Seely of Goshen.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Adrian Fisher in October 1997.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Ed Geleske of the Wakarusa United Methodist Church will officiate.   Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery, Wakarusa.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Brothers-Big sisters of Elkhart County, 59029 CR 13, Elkhart, IN   46517.
