Leatrice Seymour

Leatrice Jean Seymour, 86, of Cassopolis, Michigan, died at her home early Tuesday morning, Sept. 23, 2014. She was born in Warsaw on Sept. 22, 1928 to Wilbur Fred and Pauline Iva (Oswalt) Neer. She is survived by five siblings, Kathryn Taylor of Ocala, Fla., Frederick (Mildred) Neer of Lake Placid, Fla., Don (Joan) Neer of New Paris, Shirley Timmons of Leesburg and Ralph (Mary) Neer of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Seymour and seven siblings, Harold Neer, Mary Mueller, Helen McKinney, John Neer, Martha Groves and two infants. A 1947 graduate of Warsaw High School, Mrs. Seymour graduated from Fort Wayne School of Cosmetology in 1950. She owned and operated Leat's Beauty Salon in Warsaw for 50 years. She was a former member of Trinity Methodist Church, Warsaw. She will be missed by her niece Alicia Long, nephew, Darren Neer and her beloved dog, Ava. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 8075 Creekside Dr, Portage, MI 49024.
