Leatha E. Mishler, 84, of Goshen, died early Saturday afternoon, March 31, 2007, at Courtyard Healthcare where she had been one week. She was born in Nappanee, Indiana, on June 22, 1922, to Ezra and Sarah (Kauffman) Miller. She married Harvey J. Mishler on November 13, 1941, in Nappanee. He survives. A homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Mishler was a member of the Fairhaven Mennonite Church. She is survived by her husband, Harvey; four daughters, Arlene Hershberger of Elkhart, Sharon (Verton) Coblentz and Betty (Joe) Borkholder, both of Goshen, and Carolyn (Enos) Yoder of Middlebury; four sons, LaMar and Wayne (Mary Ellen) Mishler, both of Goshen, Samuel (Roberta) Mishler of Syracuse and Stephen Mishler of Plymouth; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Tobias (Joann) Miller of Nappanee. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Orpha Heckaman and Cora Wert; and two brothers, Paul and Orville Miller. Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 2, at the Fairhaven Mennonite Church, Goshen. A 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at the Fairhaven Mennonite Church, Goshen. Rev. Wilbur Yoder, Rev. Harvey Miller and Rev. Dan Miller, all of Fairhaven Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
