Laveta M. Randall, 71, of Goshen, died Tuesday morning, April 14, 2015 at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born February 14, 1944 in Elkhart to John L. and Catherine E. (Fisher) Hartzler. Survivors include a son, Matt Randall of Elkhart; a granddaughter, Lindsey Randall; two sisters, Juanita Hartzler of Las Vegas, and Vivian D. Hunt of Kansas City, Missouri; and three brothers, Galen Hartzler, Kenneth J. (Janet) Hartzler of Manheim, Pennsylvania and Wayne L. (Nicky) Hartzler of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Hartzler, and two brothers, Ernest E. and Lewis E. Hartzler. A lifelong area resident, Laveta was a member of First Brethren Church, Elkhart, and former member of Toastmasters in Elkhart. She worked for 32 years at Crown International, manufacturer of high quality amplifying equipment. She later worked for ACE Cab Company in Elkhart. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. There will be no services.
