Laurene M. Leinbach, 98, of Goshen, formerly of Liberty, Michigan went to be with her Lord, Monday morning October 5, 2015 at her home. She was born August 3, 1917 in Shipshewana to Neri and Flora (Bontrager) Bontrager. In 1938 she married Oscar L. Leinbach. He passed away November 2, 1988. Surviving are five children, Karen A. Leinbach of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lowell L. (Joyce) Leinbach of Cement City, Michigan, Jean Leinbach of Goshen, Mary Jo Brandenberger of Sarasota, Florida and Sharon K. Leinbach of Englewood, Florida; five grandchildren, Craig (Abbey) Leinbach of Lansing, Michigan, Brent (Ann) Leinbach of Canton, Michigan, Michael (Lynn) Brandenberger of Fort Wayne, Mardee (Ben) Cooper of Sarasota, Florida and Matthew Brandenberger also of Sarasota, Florida; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dewayne (Judy) Bontrager of Plantation, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Bev Bontrager of Elkhart. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby and Doris Bontrager; brothers, Glendon and Galen Bontrager, and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Leinbach was a member of Liberty Community Church while living in Michigan. She attended Pleasant View Mennonite Church while living in Goshen. Visitation will be on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Saturday, October, 10, 2015 funeral at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, 58529 C.R. 23 in Goshen. Pastors Tyler Hartford and Ron Diener will officiate. A 3 p.m. burial will follow at Laurel Hills Cemetery, Liberty, Michigan. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Pleasant View Mennonite Church or Liberty Community Church.
