Larry J. Miller, 84, of Goshen died Saturday morning, October 1, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

He was born September 20, 1938 in Goshen to Levi N. and Louise (Bontrager) Miller.

A 1957 graduate of Goshen High School, Larry served in the U.S. Army 101 st Airborne for three years following graduation.

On February 6, 1965 he married Judith R. Albert in Goshen.

She survives along with three children, Andy Miller of Raleigh, North Carolina, Casey (Julia) Miller of Goshen, and Betsy (Matt) Naragon of Auburn; four grandchildren, Hannah and Rachel Miller of Lafayette, and Keegan and Charlie Naragon of Auburn; and a brother, Lester (Lois) Miller of Goshen.

Larry retired from NIPSCO in 1994 after 33 years of service. He was a member of the local DAV, VFW, and American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards with friends, and going to casinos.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 5 p.m. memorial service will take place. Rev. Dr. Greggory Lanzen, First Baptist Church, Goshen will officiate.

Private burial at Violett Cemetery will take place at a later date.
