Larry Edward Long

Larry Edward Long, 81, of Elkhart, passed into the arms of Jesus at 6:07pm Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Elkhart Hospital.

He was born April 13, 1942 in Elkhart to Harry and Jean (Kidder) Long. On December 26, 1966 he married Evarista Gorostiza.

He was a devoted Christian, Father, and husband. He valued his faith in the Lord as his personal savior. His love of his family was exhibited by his daily devotion and an understanding heart while always offering words of wisdom.

A lifelong resident of Elkhart Larry was many different things to a variety people. His love of sports was the topic of many of his conversations. He especially enjoyed basketball. His subtle sense of humor was a unique trait known to many of his family, friends, and acquaintances.

He is survived by his son, John Peter Long and his daughter, Michele Aurora Long,

All are welcome to the graveside service to be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, 58512 Old County Rd 17, Goshen.
