Larry D. Hooley

Larry D. Hooley, 83, of Goshen passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

He was born October 1, 1939 in Middlebury to Daniel D. and Bessie P. (Miller) Hooley.

On April 15, 1962 he married Marilynn M. Yoder in Goshen.

She survives along with a son, Gregory D. (Carol Christner) Hooley of Goshen; a grandson, Joshua (Kelly Yoder) Hooley; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Randal Hooley of Middlebury.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Colleen Sue, Marcia and Raffaella M. Chantella Hooley; a son, Michael Todd Hooley; five brothers, Harold, Maurice, John, Robert, and Richard Hooley; and three sisters, Marilyn Eicher, Neva Graber, and Carolyn Rodman.

A 1957 graduate of Middlebury High School, Larry attended Waterford Mennonite Church. He did 1W service in Denver from 1959-61. He was a long-time supervisor at Elkhart Products, worked as an inspector for Supreme Corp., and served as an inventory auditor in Phoenix, Arizona.

Larry enjoyed singing, playing guitar, and getting exercise by jogging and playing golf.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 beginning at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service at Waterford Mennonite Church, 65975 State Road 15, Goshen. Pastor Deron Bergstresser will officiate.

Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
