Larry W. Harvey

Larry W. Harvey, 72, of Goshen died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at home.

He was born August 1, 1948 in Greencastle.

On August 6, 1966 he married Shirley I. Lambert in Nottawa, Michigan.  She died April 28, 2016.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey (Carrie) Harvey and Tony Harvey, both of Goshen; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters, Nancy (Tom) Arnold of Fort Wayne, Rosie Gott of Plainfield, Pat (Harold) Wenger of Goshen and Jackie (Charles) Beck of Morrisville; a brother, Ron (Peg) Harvey of Bristol; and a step-brother, Bill (Louise) Evans of Greencastle.

Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harvey; his mother, Mildred (Smythe) Kraus; and two sisters, Connie Baker and Mary Jo Kraus.

A long-time area resident, Mr. Harvey worked for the Norfolk & Southern Railroad prior to his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the local D.A.V., Moose and Eagle Lodges, and the American Legion, Bristol.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2020.  Pastor Mike Overpeck will officiate.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
