Larry J. Evans, Sr.

Larry J. Evans, Sr., 70, of Goshen, died Friday, May 13, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born January 18, 1952 in Fonde, Kentucky to Richard and Doshia (Snodgrass) Evans.

He married the love of his life Brenda (Gilbert) Evans, December 28, 1971 in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

She survives along with their two sons, L. James (Lana) Evans, Jr. of Bremen and Bobby (Melanie) Evans of Elkhart; five grandchildren, Alexa and Zackary Evans, Makinzie Slone, Hunter Evans and Paige Craigo; a brother, Ron Evans of Troy, Tennessee and two sisters, Kathy (Denny) Burden of St. Marys, Ohio and Susie Goins of Goshen.

Along with his parents Larry was preceded in death by five brothers, Hanley, Richard “Dicky”, Gary, Van and Kenneth Evans and five sisters, Geraldine Harrell, Sylvia Lamb, Etta Pruitt, Teresa Burger and Beverly Baker.

Larry’s work career included 26 years at Keystone as a RV Tech. He loved his grandchildren and his whole life revolved around his family time.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 19, followed by a Celebration of Life at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
