Laney L. Linville, 75, of Goshen, went to be home with her Lord Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her home.
She was born July 18, 1941 in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to Fred and Frances (Looney) Cavender.
On May 29, 1959 she married Ray Linville in Nappanee.
He survives along with three children, Jerry (Terri) Linville and Brenda (Larry) Howard, both of Goshen and Sue Ellen (Rodney) Smith of Portland, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fay (Dave) Wiseman of Nappanee and Betty (Robert) Utt of Elkhart and a brother, Lamar (Barbara) Cavender of St. Mary’s Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Fredleen Cavender and a great-granddaughter, Patience.
A 1959 graduate of Nappanee High School, Mrs. Linville was a devout Christian who loved her children, grandchildren and reading her Bible.
Friends may call Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m., Friday, March 31, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Jason Kincaid, First Assembly Church of God, Goshen, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
Memorial contributions may be given to the First Assembly Church of God.
