Lamar E. Lantz

Lamar Eugene Lantz, Goshen, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his home.

He was born October 5, 1937, in Fort Wayne, to Fred and Bertha (Yoder) Lantz.

On March 21, 1959, he married Anna Mae Shank in Louisville, Ohio.

She survives, along with children Melody (Andrew) Jaramillo, and Dr. Thomas (Pamela) Lantz, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Marla (Bill) Cole, of North Webster; grandchildren, Amy, Ashley, Kyle (Allie), Lucas, Benjamin, Jessica (fiancé Sam Davis), Jacob (Jessica), Will (fiancé Bailey Huff), and Alison; and two great-grandchildren on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lamar was a 1956 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of Pleasant View Church. He worked at StarCraft, Rockwood, and Barth. He then retired from Indiana Wood Products, where he was the General Manager.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, beginning at 12, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. Pastors Mark Snyder and Denzel Mauck will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
