LaBrilla F. “Libby” Grover, 77 of Goshen, died at her home Sunday evening , July 25, 2010. She had been ill. She was born on September 5, 1932, in Goshen to the late John E. and Myrtle M. (Bishop) Knight. She married William H. Books on June 27, 1953, in Goshen. He passed away September 13, 1996. She then married George H. Grover on March 27, 1999 in Garrett. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sonja (Kerry) Dunne of Mishawaka; three sons, Michael K. (Cheryl) Books of Goshen, Jeffrey (Deborah) Grover of Elkhart, and Kirby (Angela) Grover of Niles, Michigan; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Grover was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary George and Eunice Stone; and two brothers, Wesley and Larry “John” Knight. A 1950 graduate of Goshen High School, LaBrilla was an auxiliary member of both the Goshen VFW and DAV; and a member of Bridge of Hope Fellowship. A homemaker, she retired in 1979 after 13 years at Excell Corp. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastors Bob LeCount and Jim Breniser will officiate Memorials may be made to Center of Hope Hospice or Bridge of Hope Fellowship.
