Kylie Waycaster

Elkhart- Kylie Nicole Waycaster, 20, died at the Raclin House, in Mishawaka, on May 24, 2025. She was born on September 16, 2004, with RETT syndrome, and lived a wonderful and happy life.

Kylie was born to Crystal DeBaillie and Nicholas Pendergrass Sr. She was cared for by the Waycaster family.

Surviving are her parents Crystal DeBaillie, Nicholas Pendergrass, James and Terressa Waycaster; siblings Larissa Hillibrand, Juliann DeBaillie, Nicholas Pendergrass, Jr., Karl Alexander, Genie Lowry, Christopher Waycaster, Timmy Waycaster, Jamey Lynne Laxton, Jessica Davis, Cory Waycaster, Billy Waycaster, Olivia Mauer, Kristipher Waycaster, and Alexandria Ducey; grandparents Marilyn Milewski, and Roger and Dianne Eaton, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding Kylie in death are her great grandparents Faye and George Groppe Sr., Albert and Debris DeBaillie Sr., Jeremy McIntire, Wally and Harriet Terry, and grandparents James Waycaster Sr. and Dianne Waycaster.

Anyone she met would leave with a smile on their face. Kylie’s joy was contagious. Her favorite things were children and puppies. She loved to hear the giggles of children and enjoyed cuddling puppies. She was a blessing in our lives and is now in the loving hands of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 30, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, which will all take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor John Randolph from People’s Bible Church in Benton, will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol.
