Kristen Marie Miller

Kristen Marie Miller, 8, of Goshen, died late Monday, July 26, 2010 at Riley Hospital for Children, where she was transferred from Goshen General Hospital on Sunday, July 18 after becoming ill at home. She was born in Indianapolis on September 11, 2001, to Jason Lee and Karrie Jean (Rountree) Miller of Goshen. Also surviving are four sisters, Melissa Nicole Stutzman, Jalyn Ada Miller, Caitlin Brooke Miller and Rebecca Leigh Miller, all at home; and grandparents, Larry and Mary McCavitt of Centerville, Michigan and Mary Edna Miller of Goshen. Kristen attended Life Tabernacle Church and would have been a 3rd grader at Waterford Elementary School.  A happy child, Kristen was a giving child and in that spirit was an organ donor. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 30 and one hour prior to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010,  service at Life Tabernacle Church, 1135 Middlebury Street, Elkhart.  Pastors Mark Johnson and Gary Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made toward funeral expenses.
