Krisann Chaffee

Krisann Chaffee, 53, of Goshen, died Saturday morning, July 14, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital after an extended illness.   She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 21, 1954, to the late Edwin R. Kaczmarek and Martina (Dlugiewicz) Kaczmarek of Sylvania, Ohio.  She married Tony Chaffee on October 24, 2003 in Goshen.  He survives.   A 1972 graduate of Central Catholic High School of Toledo, mrs. Chaffee, attended the University of Toledo.  For the past 10 years she worked at Goshen General Hospital, most recently as Registrar at Outpatient Care.   She and her husband enjoyed vacationing and riding motorcycle together.  She also enjoyed caring for her cats, cooking, baking, spending time with family and grandchildren, and spending time at Lake Diane.  She was active in jogging and exercising.   She is survived by twin daughters, Alison K. Jarzynski and finace, Jeret Christensen of Granger and Amy B. Jarzynski of Elkhart; three step-daughters, Kellie (Jason) Wheeler and Carla Chaffee, both of Elkart, and Amy Chaffee of Goshen; one grandson, Tyler; two step-grandchildren, Kylie and Aiden; and two sisters, Kay (Robert) Banner of Swanton, Ohio, and Karen (David) Williams of Lambertville, Michigan.   She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin R. Kaczmarek.   Friends will be received 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 17 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   A 7:00 p.m., memorial service will be held on July 17, 2007 at the funeral home.  Rev. Father Robert Van Kempen of St. Mary of the Annuncuation Catholic Church of Bristol.   Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Hospital Cancer Center of Care House in Goshen.
