Klaus Petro Mueller

Klaus Petro Mueller, 78, of Goshen, died Sunday evening, July 9, 2006, at Greencroft Gables after a brief illness.   He was born February 21, 1928, in Doebeln, Germany, to Max and Johanna (Petro) Mueller.  On October 26, 1951, in Kiel, Germany, he married Christa A. Krueger.  She survives.   Mr. Mueller came to Goshen in 1957 from Germany.  He retired as business manager of KMC Control in 2001 after 23 years.   He was a member of the Republican Party, the Goshen Moose and the New Paris Conservancy.  He served on the Elkhart Symphony Board and the Elkhart County Park Board.  He was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash award and named New Paris Man of the Year.   He is survived by his wife, Christa; two daughters, Angelika (Bill Wilson) Mueller of South Bend and Kristina M. (Scott) Miller of Goshen; three sons, Arndt (Rhonda) Mueller of Marion, Indiana, Joerg (Jill) Mueller of Goshen, and Klaus D. (Jennifer) Mueller of New Paris; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by three brothers.   Friends may call 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Private family services and burial will take place.   Memorial contributions may be made to Loveway.
