Kirby Wogomon, 65, of Elgin, Illinois, originally from Goshen, died Sunday, June 16, 2024, after a long battle with diabetes at the Henry Ford Hospital, West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.
He was born November 25, 1958 in Goshen.
Kirby is survived by his mother, Carolyn (Whetten) Hull and step-father, Tom Hull, of Ligonier; sons, Brandon (Jillian) Wogomon of New Boston, Michigan, and Chase Wogomon of Suwanee, Georgia; a daughter, Tara (Ezra) White of Dallas, Georgia; and four grandchildren, Jordyn, Kason and Bryson Wogomon, and Ames White.
Other survivors include siblings, Ken (Stephanie) Wogomon of Goshen, Kris Wogomon of Nappanee, Kaye (John) Hull and Kandi (Todd) Stover, both of Ligonier.
Kirby was preceded in death by his father, Marion Wogomon, and a brother, Kirk Wogomon.
He worked in sales for various companies throughout his career, including Kirsh Window Treatments, Springs Window Fashions, and Evolution Powertools. Following retirement, he became a member of the C & K Paving Contractors, Inc. family.
Kirby will always be remembered by his love for his children and grandchildren, and his love for golf.
Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Pastor Jean Ness, Ligonier United Methodist Church will officiate.
Cremation will take place after the funeral service.
