Kirby Keim

July 23, 1937 — February 8, 2025

Kirby Keim, 87, of Goshen passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Greenleaf Health Campus, Elkhart.

He was born July 23, 1937 in Goshen to Floyd and Doris (Inbody) Keim.

On December 25, 1956 he married Patsy Fryman in Goshen.

She survives along with sons, Mike (Deb) Keim and Jeff Keim, both of Goshen; three grandchildren, Brandon (Shalmai) Keim of Goshen, Kahlil Alkattan of South Bend and Molly (Todd) Newland of Indianapolis; five great-grandchildren, Julien, Jaden and Sebastian Keim, and Ezra and Ari Newland; and a sister, Judy (Dennis) Bender of Middleburg, Florida.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Stutsman in 2019, and a sister, Elaine Johnson in 2003.

Kirby worked in construction as a stone mason. Following retirement, he stayed active working at Sideline in Everett’s Grocery, Goshen and delivering flowers for Goshen Floral.

A 1955 graduate of Goshen High School, Kirby often took tickets at Goshen High School basketball and football games. He volunteered for many years at the Goshen Relays.

He was a long-time member of West Goshen Church.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Burial in West Goshen Cemetery will take place at a later date.
