Kenyon D. Hartfield, 36, of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 27, 2013, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital. He had struggled with MS the last 13 years. He was born January 18, 1977 in Saginaw, Michigan. He is survived by his mother, Pamela (Kevin) Thomas of Goshen; a daughter, Julia Belvedere of Canton, Ohio; two sisters, Shatoya Thomas of Saginaw and Kevonda Hartfield of Goshen; two grandmothers, Julia Hartfield and Minnie Thomas and a great-grandmother, Elizabeth Oliver, all of Saginaw; his fiancé, Jeri Lyn Leitch of Goshen; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially Bobby Jarrett and Travis Peak, both of Goshen. A 1995 graduate of Goshen High School, Kenyon played football at both Goshen High School and Indiana University. He was an avid sports fan. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation and there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Goshen Gridiron Club or to the MS Society.
