Kent L. Weaver

Kent L. Weaver, 64, of Indianapolis and formerly of Goshen, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, 86 ^th St., due to the Covid-19 virus, which he contracted 10 days prior.

He was born June 3, 1955 in Elkhart to Wayne L. and Ruth V. (Bolsinger) Weaver. They preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sisters, Louanna R. (LaMar Davis) Stankovich and Colleen F. Lawhorn, both of North Webster and Tina L. (Deb Bussard) Weaver of Indianapolis; three nephews, Brent and Brian Stankovich, and Ryan Lawhorn; a niece, Stacy Greenawalt; and seven great nieces and nephews, Megan, Beau and Ty Stankovich, Sydney and Nicholas Stankovich, and Emily and Brooklyn Chupp.

Kent was a 1973 graduate of Concord High School and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkhart.  He enjoyed motorcycles, traveling with his parents and playing cards and even cheating a little bit.  He was known for riding his three wheel bicycle around the neighborhood.

The family wishes to thank his friends at Shawnee Group Home and the staff at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital for the excellent care and compassion they provided for Kent.

Private services will be held Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will take place at Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
