Kent F. Brechtel

Kent F. Brechtel, 78, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at home.  He had been ill the past several months. He was born on April 14, 1932, in Mishawaka, to the late Robert and Vera Brechtel.  He married Glenda Williamson on June 18, 1980 in Goshen.  She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Jodi (Philip) Tronsrue of Edwards, Colorado, Lisa (David) Devine of Estes Park, Colorado, and Lori (Jim) Carew of Castle Pines, Colorado; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kristopher Butts, and a brother, Max Brechtel. Mr. Brechtel served in the Navy during the 1950’s and retired as president from Goshen Cushion, Inc.  He enjoyed golf and the outdoors and loved his family and friends. An 11:00 a.m., memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church, Goshen.  Pastors Ed and Brenda Fritz will officiate. A private graveside service will be conducted at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Care at Home Hospice or First United Methodist Church of Goshen.
