Pastor Kenneth E. Rogers, 66, of Goshen, went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 17, 2023, at Majestic Care of Goshen.
He was born March 24, 1956 in South Bend to Druie and Delphine (Szewczyk) Rogers.
On August 31, 1973, he married Sharon L. Michael in Florence, Alabama.
She survives along with two brothers, Robert D. (Cherie) Rogers of Wakarusa and James D. Rogers of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews, David Rogers, Denis Rogers, Robert Rogers, Wendy Frey, Carl Morgan, Mike Cinelli, Christina Morgan, Felicia Williams, Travis Borzeniatow and Natalie Biggerstaff and many great nieces and nephews. Pastor Rogers is also survived by his two brothers-in-law, who were very close to him, James A. and Anthony Calabrese.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lana Faye Parker, Janice Faye Rogers and Mary K. Rogers; a brother, David L. Rogers and a niece, Gabriella Calabrese.
Pastor Rogers dedicated his life to Jesus and to the church. He has served as lead pastor of the Faith Christian Center, Goshen, for 43 years. He was a talented speaker with the ability to connect with people. A selfless individual, he never thought of himself, but put others needs ahead of his own.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12, noon, until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Faith Christian Center, 1801 W Clinton St, Goshen. Rev. Nyle Biggerstaff and Rev. Lester Sumrall will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial donations may be given to Faith Christian Center.
