Kenneth James Madison, 70, of Elkhart and formerly of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 29, 2024.

He was born December 8, 1953, in Little Falls, New York, to Alfred James and Jane Elizabeth (Van Slyke) Madison.

He is survived by three children, Sam Madison, Rachel Taylor and Jared Madison; their mother, Donna Geiger Madison; five grandchildren; three sisters, Karen (Sal) Stokes of Frankfort, New York, Pam (Bob) Elliot of Goshen and Lisa Dillenbeck of Fultonville, New York and five brothers, Scott Madison, Dolgeville, New York, James Madison, Herkimer, New York; Steve Bevers of Tennessee and Jeff Bevers and Harry “Skeet” Bevers, both of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his second wife, Linda Kay Madison.

A graduate of Goshen High School, Kenn graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College and Ashland Seminary, Ashland, Ohio.  He retired from the US Army after 20 years, serving in Vietnam and the Gulf War.

He was a member of First Brethren Church, Elkhart.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 11 from 12, noon, until the 1 p.m. memorial service at First Brethren Church, Elkhart.
