Kenneth H. Houtz

Kenneth H. Houtz, 79, of Goshen, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Greencroft Healthcare.

He was born November 25, 1937 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Harry & Thelma (Boyer) Houtz.

On April 13, 1968 he married Judith Unruh in Harper, Kansas.

She survives along with two daughters, Debra (James) Powell of Goshen and Jenifer (Bob) Fake of Jonestown, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters and three siblings, Barbara (Joe) Smith and Donna (Tom) Roth, both of Ephrata, Pennsylvania and Rick (Sandi) Houtz of Newark, Delaware.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Houtz worked as an accountant for Hocking Printing, Inc. for 41 years.

He was a member of Waterford Mennonite Church, Lions Club and the American Legion.  He volunteered at Greencroft, at Goshen Hospital as a Red Coat and with AARP tax service.

Friends may call Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. memorial service at Waterford Mennonite Church.  Pastor Velma Swartz will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Heart and Vascular at Goshen Hospital or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
