Kenneth R. Dutton, 77, of New Paris, passed away Wednesday morning, October 7, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born September 23, 1938 in Stone Mountain, Georgia to Julius and Sarah (Bowman) Dutton. On May 31, 1974 he married Mary Hardrick in Fitzgerald, Georgia. He is survived by two children, Pamela Moore and Barry (Carolyn) Dutton, both of Commerce, Georgia; two step-daughters, Kimberly (Darrell) Smith, Tifton, Georgia and Susan (Randy) Colson, Valdosta, Georgia; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and volunteered at IU Health Goshen Hospital. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, October 18, 2015, starting at 3 p.m. at the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. Pastor Dwayne Runkle will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.
