Kenneth V. Clark, 87, of Goshen, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Greenleaf Health Campus, Elkhart, after a four month illness. He was born March 13, 1925 in Elkhart to Kenneth L. and Ella Marie (Richardson) Clark. He married Gloria Jean Culp March 31, 1948 in Goshen. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Rick (Jan) Clark and Karry Clark, both of Goshen; a daughter, Charlene (Rick) Nicholai, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Graham (Jenny) Clark, Keneat (Jame) Riley, Casey Clark, Jeff and Joe Ladig; and three great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Lilly Clark and Mason Riley. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jodie Clark in 2003 and a sister, Phyllis Deisch. A longtime Goshen resident, Mr. Clark worked as office manager at Johnson Controls for 25 years and retired from Holiday Rambler in 1989. A 1944 graduate of Goshen High School, he was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ. He bowled in a league from Penn Control and enjoyed trout fishing and putting puzzles together. Following his retirement he spent 12 summers in Estes Park, Colorado. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 4, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, funeral service will be conducted. Tim Yoder will officiate. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth United Church of Christ and to the Jodie Clark Scholarship Fund.
