Kenlyn “Woody” Sorg Haack, 84 of Goshen died Monday, February 13, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 25, 1938 in Goshen to Jesse “Alvin” and Katherine (Conklin) Swihart.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Ken) Coffman of Goshen, Tammy (Craig) Lambright of Charleston, South Carolina and Susan Warstler of Goshen; a step-daughter, Kathy (Randy Holderbaum) Maddox of Woodland; six grandchildren, Dustin Coffman, Kelly (Pablo) Morales, Tyler Lambright, Brittney (Joel) Eichorn, Neal (Lauren) Warstler and Nikki Sorg; nine great-grandchildren, Anna and Lillian Coffman, Pablo, Kenlyn, and Colin Morales, Josiah, Finley and Selah Eichorn, and Noah Warstler; and a sister, Phyllis Whirledge, Goshen.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard L. Sorg; second husband, Robert Haack; two grandsons, Craig (Leslie) Coffman and Seth Maddox; and three sisters, Dora Cripe, Marilyn Yoder and Deborah Troyer.
Kenlyn, known to most as “Woody” was a member of Goshen First Brethren Church. She worked as a medical assistant at Dr. Bowser’s office for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. There will also be an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at Goshen First Brethren Church, 215 W. Clinton St., Goshen. Pastor Austin Kaufman will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
